If you’ve tried a million things to be a healthier, happier you and nothing seems to stick, here's what I've learned about that: healing requires embodiment. You simply can't heal a body you’re disconnected from. Trauma disconnects us from our bodies, so reconnecting is the first step to breaking free from the endless cycle of symptom treating and get straight down to the root cause.
Having battled with chronic pain, illness, anxiety, and fatigue for over 20 years, boy do I understand the pain of having your quality of life snatched from you and how defeating it feels to not be able to move freely or do the things you enjoy. There were times when even the thought of moving my body felt impossible, scary, and overwhelming. I felt powerless—so I stopped moving altogether.
But then I learned that not moving enough, or pushing my body to move in ways it couldn’t tolerate, actually made things worse. More pain. More fatigue. More chronic issues. I don’t want that for you.
I know now our bodies need movement to function and thrive. I also know how conflicting it feels to when it hurts too much to move. So let’s bridge this gap together!
